Dear Festival Friends, We’d like to kick off the new year with heartfelt gratitude to those of you who generously made donations to the Festival in 2024. Special thanks to the donors (more than two hundred of you!) who took time to check their inboxes over the holidays and respond to our end-of-year appeal. We know that many worthy organizations ask for your support, so we’re grateful and honored to have made your charitable gift list. The Festival wouldn’t be possible without the help of devoted, community-minded people like you. We’re not good with New Year’s resolutions, but there’s one promise we’ll never break: to bring you the most inspiring and thought-provoking Festival we can, and to support literacy programs for New Mexico’s next generation of readers, writers, and thinkers. As we like to say, “Literature lifts us,” and the Festival is our small way of making the world a better place through stories and the written word. This year’s Festival features an incredible lineup of authors, including Percival Everett, Amy Tan, Michael Pollan, Miranda July, Heather Cox Richardson, Jonathan Eig, Marie Arana, Terry Tempest Williams, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Danzy Senna, Colum McCann, and Deborah Taffa. We hope you will join us May 16–18 to meet these and many other authors here in beautiful Santa Fe. Tickets go on sale later this month, so watch your email and our website for updates.
