Dear Festival Friends, We have been absolutely astounded by the enthusiasm and generosity of our community during the first days of ticket sales for the 2026 Festival. Thank you all so much! The Festival has always strived to be accessible to everyone who loves books. That said, we know that many of you are disappointed that some of our most highly anticipated author sessions are already at capacity. As a young nonprofit, our supporters make it possible for us to present top authors, keep pricing accessible, and ensure free community programming, which is why we have offered them early bird access. Until now, we have never had a session sell out before general tickets went on sale, so frankly we are stunned to be in this position. Please know that we have heard your feedback and we are thoughtfully considering alternative ticketing options for 2027. If any of your favorite authors have sold out, we urge you to take advantage of our waitlist. The Festival is still months away, and a lot can change between now and then—seats do often open up. And please know that there are still plenty of tickets available for many of our stellar authors, including Liz Moore, Lauren Groff, Jason De León, Rebecca Solnit, Alison Bechdel, and Ada Limón.
