Dear Festival Friends, On behalf of the Board of Directors, Founders, and Founding Advisors of the Santa Fe International Literary Festival, I wish to express our deep gratitude to each and every one of you, including authors, moderators, donors, sponsors, booksellers, staff, students, librarians, attendees, and all of our valued media and hotel partners. Did I mention the 202 volunteers? As a community, we were inspired, amused, brought to tears, and called to action. There were moments of jubilation, with cheering all around, and other moments of sacred rage (thank you, Terry Tempest Williams). The City of Santa Fe showed herself to best advantage, with sparkling blue skies and crisp (thin) air. (Thanks to the folks backstage who kept the authors hydrated.)
