Volunteer Lounge & Access

The Volunteer Lounge is located in the Kearny Room of the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. It serves as the central hub for:

• T-shirt and badge pick-up

• Shift check-in

• Refreshments

• Live-streaming of Main Stage author talks

Who Has Access

The Volunteer Lounge is reserved exclusively for current-year Festival volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to enjoy the live-streamed Main Stage talks when they are not on shift.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate guests, family members, or individuals who are not volunteering at this year’s Festival.

Food, Beverages & Personal belongings

Snacks and beverages are available in the Volunteer Lounge throughout the weekend.

• Please keep all food and beverages inside the lounge.

• You are welcome to bring your own snacks or meals, though refrigerator space cannot be guaranteed.

• While refreshments are available at any time, please do not leave your shift unfilled. If you need to step away, notify your Team Leader so a temporary replacement can be arranged.

We encourage volunteers to travel lightly. The Volunteer Lounge does not have designated storage space, and we are unable to assume responsibility for personal belongings. Please keep valuables with you at all times.

Lunch / Dinner

On Saturday and Sunday, volunteers who serve two consecutive shifts of 3+ hours each (or more) will receive a meal voucher. Vouchers may be used at one of the food trucks on site during the Festival.
