How Tickets Work
Buying tickets for the Festival works a little differently than a single-event program. The Festival includes a core program of talks and conversations, as well as a small number of optional, separately ticketed experiences. Seating is organized into sections, and some sessions take place at the same time. Learn about Concurrent, Non-Concurrent and Additional Programming below.

Primary Programming
Nonconcurrent Sessions
The Primary Program offers seven nonconcurrent sessions—author talks scheduled with no overlapping large-audience sessions.
Location: Main Stage
Length: 60–75 minutes
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.
Concurrent Sessions
The Primary Program also offers twelve concurrent sessions—two author talks scheduled at the same time to offer multiple options and accommodate large audiences.
Locations: Main Stage, Conversation Stage
Length: 60 minutes
Schedule:
Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 1:00, 2:30,
and 4:00 p.m.
Additional Programming
The Festival also offers optional programs—immersive experiences designed to complement the Festival’s talks and conversations.
Some of the additional programming takes place at the same time as Primary Program sessions. Noting scheduled times before purchasing tickets can help prevent overlapping plans or duplicate purchases.
Morning Meditation and Author Talk
A sixty-minute session led by renowned spiritual leaders and authors, combining guided meditation with an author talk or conversation, offering a reflective start to the day.
Walk & Talks, Spirits Tastings, and Taste & Talks
Sixty-minute, off-site sessions led by renowned chefs, respected local authors, and gifted guides familiar with Santa Fe and regional culture. These programs pair literary conversation with walking tours or tasting experiences, all within walking distance of the Convention Center.
Community Poetry Event
A sixty-minute session featuring readings and conversation with poets, often centered on a poetry anthology that brings together the work of many influential voices across generations. Free to attend; registration required.
